I manage two different Google accounts so I tend to keep them both open but in different browsers. For the past few hours I was unable to open any HTTPS ( including GMAIL ) sites in Google Chrome. How ironic I thought, I can't even open up the website of the people who made the darn browser. So, I remembered that Google Chrome actually pulls settings from Microsoft Internet Explorer. So I open Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, go to TOOLS, Internet Option, then the content tab. I click on clear SSL state and click OK.
I close Google Chrome and reopen and just like that, my day is back on track.
